Ingredients
- 6 cl Skotlander White Rum
- 2 cl cold brewed coffee*
- 2 cl freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 cl vanilla syrup**
- 2 coffee beans for garnish (optional)
- Lots of ice cubes
Instructions
- Fill up your shaker with ice cubes. Pour in all the ingredients and shake well for 30 seconds. Strain everything into a cocktail glass and garnish with a couple of coffee beans.
Notes
* cold brewed coffee - 250 g coffee beans (ground for french press) and 1 liter of mineral water: Slowly pour the mineral water over the ground coffee. Cover it and leave for 24 hours. First strain it through an ordinary strainer. Then strain it again through a dishcloth or a paper towel. It might take some time, but it'll be worth the while. This fantastic cold brewed coffee can be stored in a jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
** Vanilla Syrup - Mix equal parts of sugar and boiling water in a bottle. Add a vanilla pod. Leave it to cool.
