6 cl Skotlander Cask Rum 2 teaspoons maple syrup 1 dash Angostura Bitter 3 cl cold pressed apple juice Lemon zest Lots of ice cubes
Mix the maple syrup with Angostura Bitter in a lowball glass filled with ice cubes. Add half of the rum and stir gently to mix the aromas. Add the rest of the rum, more ice and stir again. Add the apple juice and stir a final time. Top off with extra ice cubes and then twist a big peel of lemon zest over the glass before you add it as garnish.
